From picking out the right computer and setting up a home network, to using the Internet for personal and professional use, How To Be A Geek Goddess is a handy reference guide for women of all ages. 

And beyond just the technical parts, there are "Dear Geek Goddess" letters on some of the social aspects to technology and technical problems, guides to managing your finances, email, protecting your children online, even how to find old friends or a date. Many of the suggestions aren't just to save you time or effort, but could save you money (and if you use the chapter on using the Internet for phone service, you'll probably save more than the cost of the book.) Highly recommended for anyone (male or female) wanting to understand a bit more about technology, and how to make it easier.
