Lige fra starten for 10 år siden var det kvaliteten og stabiliteten som var Google kendetegn og nu mere eller mindre deres varemærke. Lige siden har (næsten) alt hvad de har rørt ved haft samme ekstrem høje kvalitet og det er bemærkelsesværdig hvorledes de har formået dette. Med success har man set mange andre lægge godt ud men drukne og miste overblikket på den lange bane - dette er endnu ikke overgået Google og spørgsmålet er om det nogensinde vil ske?

Since the beginning 10 years ago the quality and the stability has been Google trademark. Ever since (almost) everything the company has touched have had the same extreme high quality and it is with great ave that we have been witness to this. Many others have tried success but on the long run the growth has killed them - will this ever happen to Google?

As Google Maps continues to roll out new features that competing map services don’t have, web users are rewarding it with big gains in traffic. A recent analyst report says Google is the number one maps site in terms of features and usability, and new Hitwise.com traffic data just shared this week with Search Engine Land shows Google Maps pulling much closer to category leader MapQuest.
In a report issued this week, the boutique investment bank Cowen and Company says Google is the clear leader with the most user-friendly features among the four major mapping sites. “Google Maps has meaningfully expanded its lead in features and functionality over its competitors,” Cowen analysts say in their report.
