GIS Next: A Chasm Crossed


GIS er alle vegne, GIS bliver opdaget alle vegne og GIS anvendes alle vegne ... Der er bare ikke ret mange som ved det. Om GIS er blevet voksen? GIS er nok bare blevet mere anvendelig -mere spiselig - og det er ikke grundet GIS leverandørerne men på grund af nutidens teknologiske niveau. GIS vil altid være en del af noget andet og dermed aldrig noget i sig selv.

GIS is everywhere, GIS is discovered in all places and GIS is used in many areas ... Not many know that. Has GIS grown up? GIS has become more main stream and usable for many - not so much because of the GIS manufacturers but more because of advances in todays technology. GIS will alway be part of something else and not something on it own.
